The implementation is achieved via dimmable lighting systems with the aim of reducing the lighting costs, to increase the lighting comfort and to promote individuality. The implementation is done by a dimmable electronic ballast (EVG) with 1 .. 10 V interface or DALI in combination with appropriate sensors. We have to distinguish between automatic controls, manual controls and complex controls. The selection of the appropriate 1 .. 10 V dimming components depends strongly on the particular application. The lighting is controlled by light sensors taking the daylight into account and thus the free daylight is used. Savings of up to 60% are therefore possible when using sensors with automatic switchoff, with motion detectors and timers even up to 70%.
